This Riso printed project contains one of the internet’s famous archived forums: the Am I A Lesbian Masterdoc. This document has been used as a tool, resource, and a validating key to many lesbians who have come across it. This zine was created with the intention of resurfacing this (sort of) guide for those who are trying to find their way.

Am I A Lesbian Zine is typeset in Vision (left) by artist Erin Moore, who created typefaces to resemble the hand lettering used in the Lesbian and Feminist movement in the 70’s—80’s. The body text used is Tomarik (right) by Mariya Lish.

COLOR PALETTE
The color palette used is sourced from the 5 stripe Lesbian flag, in which each stripe has been named as well as given meaning. Going from the top of the flag down, the five stripes represent the following: Gender non-conformity (dark orange), Community (light orange), Unique relationships to womanhood (white), Serenity and peace (pink), and Femininity (dark pink).
